For Open Lines George offered a special 'weird and wacky' hotline. A caller who enjoys jogging at night informed George that streetlights turn off whenever he runs by them. According to the caller, outdoor lights of houses he passes by also darken. Another caller recalled a horrifying encounter she had during a hunting trip 21 years ago in Pennsylvania. The caller claimed to have witnessed an angry beast, similar to Bigfoot, ripping down trees and screaming. She thinks the creature was trying to protect the area wildlife from her hunting party. Jennifer shared information about strange goings-on at the Paine Art Center in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Local legends say the museum is haunted by the ghost of Nathan Paine, a wealthy lumber baron who once lived in the building. UFO/Crop Circle researchers, Ed & Kris Sherwood shared their evidence and analysis of various phenomena. Crop circles have been manmade since 2001, Ed declared, and since 1990 less than 10% have come from non-manmade sources. The Sherwoods believe that the 10% of genuine formations come from either ET or "cosmic" sources. Ed went on to explain that in the case of cosmic or divine sources, there is interactivity with human consciousness in the creation of the circles. "It's like a poltergeist on a global scale," he said.He also noted that in the case of ET-made circles there are severe effects such as the burning of soil and plants, but in the cosmically created patterns, there are few signs of damage.Ed discussed his interactions with a 15-20 ft. plasma light that emitted a high frequency sound. He said he is sometimes able to sense when luminous energy is forming and can interact with it via his consciousness. Such plasma can be associated with the formation of crop circles.

Mass behavior expert Howard Bloom (howardbloom.net), was the guest for the first half of Wednesday night's regular show, offering his analysis of how the war was being portrayed in the media. "The foreign press has been set up to believe that everything America does is an atrocity," Bloom said, pointing to a "secret war going on behind the headlines." He suggested that the Iraqi military may be dressing as civilians, so that when they are killed or injured they can claim it was a civilian casualty. He added they also may be wearing similar uniforms as the US military and assassinating people such as Shi'ites and then using the foreign press to photograph such incidents as examples of American brutality.
