James Spottiswoode
Biography:
James Spottiswoode is currently the director of research of the Cognitive Sciences Laboratory, the site of a long term U.S. government research program into paranormal phenomena, particularly ESP and psychokinesis (PK). He started working with this group in the early eighties when it was at SRI International and has stayed with them since then.

Precognition Experiments
Parapsychologists Jeffrey Mishlove (Thinking Allowed), and James Spottiswoode (jsasoc.com) appeared together on Thursday's night show to discuss an experiment in precognition that has been yielding startling results. In the human mind there may be an "extraordinary effect that's coming back from the future and affecting the brain earlier in time," said Spottiswoode. Their next such experiment will be held in Los Angeles on March 2nd. The experiment involves measuring arousal levels via skin conductor responses, as subjects listen on headphones to sporadic bursts of sound. What the studies have revealed is that there is a statistically significant response that occurs approximately three seconds before the sound is heard, as if the person's body were reacting to the blast before it actually came.
