Last Show Recap

Pres. Reagan's secret agent, Lee Wanta, masterminded a creative way to financially take down the economy of the Soviet Union. He joins Richard Syrett to discuss, along with Lon Gibby (director of a documentary about Wanta), his claim that he amassed trillions of dollars that were designated to go back to the American people but in his effort to carry out his mandate, he was imprisoned, and the funds were stolen or converted illegally into the Federal Reserve. First hour guest, security consultant and researcher Colin Hall details his investigation into two unusual car accidents in England and France that seemed to have paranormal elements.

From 6-10pm PT, Art Bell: Somewhere in Time returns to 2/9/96 when money expert Andy Gause spoke about the national debt, the deficit, gold, investing, and the secret history of money.

W.B. Ward

Special Guest

Biography:

Born in 1958, W. B. Ward has worked in various fields of the entertainment industry including (but not limited to) music, radio, television, theatre, concerts, carnivals, professional wrestling, and so on. Having worked as a mentalist, he discovered that his effects were often based on tricks used by con men to swindle honest people from their hard-earned money. Using his craft as a springboard, Mr. Ward began researching various schemes to defraud unwitting victims, and he has compiled his findings into a book called "Brother Can You Spare a Dime? And Other Popular Cons," along with suggested defenses again each con. (Sadly, however, this book is currently out of print.) Playing over 30 instruments, he is also an accomplished musician, and has recorded a CD called "Serenity," a collection of easy-listening solos played on classical guitar. He has also taught instrumental music in both private and public schools. As far as being a mentalist is concerned, he also offers a show (THINKING IS BELIEVING) which is customized to almost any-sized audience, and is guaranteed to provide an evening of light-hearted entertainment, proving that fraud doesn't have to be dishonest, just fun!
