Bio

Jeff Theerman is Executive Director Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (MSD). He has 20 years with MSD. His prior career experience includes four years with Illinois Environmental Protection Agency; Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, Master of Science in civil engineering; registered professional engineer in the State of Missouri. During the 1993 flood, Jeff was Assistant Director of Wastewater Operations in charge of MSD's Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant. In that role, Jeff was intimately involved in MSD's response to the flood, overseeing the protection of the Midwest’s largest wastewater treatment plant.
