Dan Mathews is the vice-president of PETA and known for heading PETA's most controversial and attention-getting campaigns, including campaigns involving celebrities such as Gary Glitter, Pamela Anderson, Pink, and Paul McCartney. As a young adult, Dan worked as a model and actor. He has been arrested countless times all over the world in his efforts to protect the rights of animals and create public awareness. In 2000, he was named by Genre magazine as one of the most influential people of the new century. Dan’s book "Committed: A Rabble Rouser’s Memoir" is now available.
