Bio

Carol Simontacchi obtained her certification as a Clinical Nutritionist through the Clinical Nutritionist Certification Board, and is a professional member of the International and American Associations of Clinical Nutritionists. She has authored numerous books and training courses including Your Fat is Not Your Fault, All About Chitosan and The Crazy Makers: How Fast Foods are Killing Our Minds and Destroying Our Children.

She is the author and designer of WINGS: Weight Success for a Lifetime, the only holistic weight management curriculum on the market. and a contributing writer for the Healthy Hearts newsletter, published online on eDiets.com. She has appeared on the Maury Povich Show, the Dr. Atkins’ Show, The Home Page (NBC and MSNBC), the 700 Club, KKLA, Positively Texas, the Ronald Hoffman show, the Jim Bohannon Show, Here’s To Your Health, and hundreds of other local, regional, and national radio and TV shows. Carol earned her Master of Science Degree from Columbia Pacific University in 1997.
