New Meteor Shower

A new meteor shower could put on a dazzling show next week, with up to 200 "shooting stars" per hour. The debuting Camelopardalin meteor shower is due to peak between May 23-24th, 2014 as Earth passes through a debris stream left by Comet 209P/LINEAR (pictured in the center of the photo) almost 200 years ago. The Camelopardalin could rival the annual Perseid meteor shower which comes through each August. More at Space.com.
