Hornets Nest
These are pics taken in 2007 of a hornets nest built on the side of an old abandoned bus. Half of the nest was built over the window allowing you to see the inside of the nest from the other side. I thought it was fascinating to see how the inside of a hornets nest is constructed (photo on the right). It would have been cool to see the hornets working in it, but it was probably a good thing that the nest was empty!
