I was listening to Coast to Coast AM and contemplating gained knowledge through osmosis or absorption on some metaphysical plane, thanks to Terence McKenna, when I thought of a tree growing out of a skull. I also felt like painting something with a bit of symbolism. This is a watercolor completed in November of 2012.
