The Other Side

Part one: After two decades as a top investigator of corporate fraud, Greg Palast directed the U.S. government’s largest racketeering case in history–winning a $4.3 billion jury award and he also conducted the investigation of fraud charges in the Exxon Valdez grounding. Now working as an investigative journalist, he discussed the dirty tricks being used by both parties to sway the outcomes of elections.

Part two: Dr. Ardy Sixkiller Clarke, a Professor Emeritus at Montana State University, has dedicated her life and career to working with indigenous populations and spent seven years traveling through Belize, Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico, collecting stories of encounters, sky gods, giants, little people, and aliens. Dr. Clarke detailed the UFO stories of "Urban Indians" who live off reservation lands.

The Other Side

Show Archive
Date: Wednesday - October 22, 2003
Host: George Noory
Guests: Sylvia Browne

Psychic Sylvia Browne returned to C2C to offer predictions and share tales from "the other side." Among her forecasts are the death of Saddam Hussein by the end of this year, a Democratic president elected in 2004, and the possible eruption of the volcano at Yellowstone within the next 3-4 months. "I think the whole thing is gonna blow," she said.

Differentiating her encounters with ghosts and spirits, Browne said that spirits have crossed over, while ghosts don't realize they've passed on and are caught between worlds, wondering why other people are occupying their spaces. Interestingly, she revealed that she can't sleep in a completely darkened room, as she witnesses too much "activity," but a little light diffuses the visible energy of ghosts.

Among the most haunted locations Browne has visited were the former homes of Bela Lugosi and Alfred Hitchcock. Lugosi's in particular, had disturbing ghosts that were drinking blood and shooting up, she said. She also recounted a "conversation" she had with Princess Diana shortly after her death, and was told the fatal car crash was not an accident and that the certain people didn't want her marrying into the Fayed family.
