UFOs Over America
| Date: | 04-09-04 |
| Host: | George Noory |
| Guests: | Open Lines, Peter Davenport |
In the first half of Friday's show, Peter Davenport, Director of the National UFO Reporting Center, presented two recent cases. Joining him on the program, was Stacey, a witness to a dramatic sighting on March 26, 2004 in Bradenton, FL. Along with her son, she said she saw two large discs that moved erratically, as well as stopped in mid-air. A detailed drawing they made of the incident is here.
In the second case, which Davenport said occurred one night earlier, an airline crew traveling over Omaha witnessed four discs pacing their distance in front of their plane. An aircraft controller from Minneapolis was set to come on the air to discuss the incident but Davenport said officials advised him not to appear at the last minute. Read his original report submitted to NUFORC.
Miracle Hotline
The second half of Friday's show featured Open Lines, with a special Miracle Hotline. Callers to it included a woman who told a miraculous tale of how she slipped on some stairs while carrying a baby and the infant safely floated down to the ground. A mountain hiker named Dave shared a story of when he collapsed from hypothermia on a trek, and he heard a voice from a young man who resembled Jackson Browne telling him to wake up. He believed his life was saved by this figure who was then suddenly gone.
