Author and energy healer Dr. Shelley Kaehr(1) discussed her work into the therapeutic properties of minerals, metals and stones.A long time member of Edgar Cayce’s A.R.E.(2) (Association for Research and Enlightenment), she also shared Cayce’s extensive work in this area, which he delivered during his trance readings. Cayce believed that gems and metals generate a vibrational frequency, and Kaehr explained that by bringing these objects into your range they could attract certain energies which could be healing.
She suggested putting a stone on your body for a 20-minute "nap" period, in order to take advantage of its therapeutic vibrations. Rose quartz is associated with love, reducing wrinkles and losing weight, while turquoise, placed on the solar plexus, provides an all over healing, she said. Other healing materials she mentioned include bloodstone, Infinite, Larimar, and a wearable product called Q-Link(3).
Kaehr pointed out that metals have more of a direct physical impact, while gemstones typically address spiritual and emotional concerns. The integrity of the energy field (or etheric double) can be worn down by stress, she noted, and thus can benefit from certain healing frequencies.
