Set Phasers to Stun
U.S. scientists are currently developing Star Trek-style phasers to keep "security adversaries" out of nuclear power stations. Expected to be in use by 2008, the proposed weapon would use a 95GHz millimeter-wave of directed energy to harmlessly stun intruders.
