The Marfa Lights
On almost any clear night, the mysterious "Marfa Lights" can be seen dancing across Mitchell Flat in West Texas. The lights reportedly move around just above the horizon, and fluctuate in intensity and color. The phenomenon has been reported in the area for over a century and is the subject of many origin theories, some of which include: campfires, car lights, static electricity, St. Elmo's Fire, and swamp gas. The lights remain unexplained. Read more at USA Today(1).
