Laird Scranton is an independent software designer and author, who has written several books on African and Egyptian cosmology and language. He discussed how multiple ancient cultures, spanning both years and geography, have strikingly similar creation myths and cosmologies. What's Happened to Us?

Show Archive
Date: Friday - April 20, 2007
Host: Art Bell
Guests: Open Lines, Evelyn Paglini

Filling in for George, Art Bell hosted a night of unscreened Open Lines. In light of the tragedy at Virginia Tech, Friday's shooting at NASA, and increasing violent events around the country, Art asked listeners, "What's happened to us?"

Several callers phoned in to share their thoughts on the topic and air their feelings about the Virginia Tech shootings. Many of the conversations centered on the nature and source of evil, as well as how modern technology has both connected us in new ways while simultaneously disconnecting us from each other.

School Shooting Prediction

In the first hour, Art welcomed back parapsychologist Dr. Evelyn Paglini, who checked in on a prediction from her March 31, 2007 Coast appearance regarding an 'evil presence' and a violent Columbine-like event.
