History, Gods & Collapse

Date: 06-06-07
Host: George Noory
Guests: Patrick Conway, Alex Jones

Patrick Conway, the founder of Historical Realists, said supernatural beings or "gods" ruled the Earth of the ancient world. Biblical and pagan gods left around the time of the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD, plunging societies into collapse, and humankind into ignorance, said Conway. He arrived at his thesis through studying various ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians and the Israelites-- what academia has often labeled as myth, he views as history.

After the collapse, an ideological split developed between theology and atheism-- and these two opposing paradigms have led to conflict and violence, he stated. Conway offers his book, The Awful Truth, as a free online download.

Arrest at Giuliani Press Conference

During the first half-hour, radio host Alex Jones reported on the arrest of a correspondent accused of trespassing at a Giuliani press conference. He was joined by the arrested reporter Matt Lepacek, as well as a second reporter Luke Rudowski, both of whom had legitimate credentials to be at the event. For more, see this article, which includes a video clip of the incident.
