Messages from Spirit
| Date: | 05-18-09 |
| Host: | George Noory |
| Guests: | James Van Praagh, Rebecca Hardcastle, Cal Orey |
World renowned medium James Van Praagh discussed what the spirits of the dead have shared with him about the Other Side, and how we, the living, can benefit from their experiences. Most spirits have regrets about their lives and suggest that people deal with their issues while still on the earthly plane. The spirits say to be aware and mindful, and be conscious of what we create with our thoughts, words, and deeds, he detailed.
Addictions, for instance, if not dealt with, will become amplified in the spiritual dimension, and some earthbound spirits even haunt bars so they can overshadow drinkers, Van Praagh noted. He cited a case of 'unfinished business,' in which he communicated with a client's deceased uncle, whom the woman despised. The spirit revealed that he'd committed suicide over his abuse of her, and couldn't move on until she forgave him.
According to Van Praagh, death is a different state of consciousness, in which there is an opening of perception and a greater sense of wholeness and connection. He works with a set of spirit guides, such as a doctor, a nun, and an American Indian, who help bring through individual spirits, which can sometimes even be those of deceased pets and animals.
'Exoconsciousness'
First hour guest, paranormal researcher Rebecca Hardcastle discussed her concept of 'exoconsciousness' which deals with the ET aspects of human consciousness. Following in the footsteps of the late John Mack, she believes that contact between beings of different realities, such as aliens & humans, can have great value.
Quake Prediction
Appearing briefly at the start of the show, earthquake sensitive Cal Orey discussed her correct prediction of the recent quake centered near Los Angeles.
