Diving into the Future
Sean David Morton, known for the uncanny accuracy of some his predictions,
returns to
Coast this Thursday night, to tell us what he foresees
for the coming year and beyond. Last year he told
After Dark : "I see a global collapse in 2005 where
everything hits the wall. Terrorism on a massive scale, some kind of a
gigantic plague- something like a flu virus. Before the Dow Jones collapses
in 2005, it will go to 17,000 and then you'll see it readjust after the
collapse to around 6,000 or so."
In the meantime Morton has been leading seminars in what he calls Spiritual
Remote Viewing (SRV). His course actually teaches people to make money off
things like the stock market, horse racing and casinos. But is there a
schism between spirituality and prosperity? Morton says that in Buddhism
there are two valid models. One is the humble begging monk, stripping
everything away through poverty and destitution. The other is the path of
princely Buddha, who by having wealth, power and position is in a better
space to help others.
But in the face of a global collapse will our money even have any value?
Morton believes an economy based on food will eventually supplant our paper currency. In fact, he's predicted that the economic capital of the
U.S. will be in Omaha, Nebraska. Mover over NYC, and make way for the
farmbelt!

Visions of the Future
“2003 will be looked back on…as a massively pivotal period,” Sean David Morton said on his Thurs. night appearance on
Coast . As he laid out an array of mostly dire yet fascinating predictions, Morton touched on the Middle East, hegemonic control, weather and war. Here is a rundown of some of some of his visions:
- A concerted terrorist attack on 5 major US airports (Chicago, Dallas, Salt Lake, NYC, LA) will occur in late August 2003.
- War with Iraq will begin somewhere between Jan. 15th and Feb.1, 2003, and will eventually expand into Iran. Libya is also going to be a major player and will have “Excalibur nukes.”
- We will have an unusually cold “Siberian Express” winter across major portions of the U.S. this year, which will lead to massive flooding in the spring.
- Sometime between 2005 and 2010, the federal capital will move to Denver as Washington DC becomes indefensible in the face of further terrorism.
- China will eventually run out of food and decide to attack the US with a 200 million-strong army that will enter our country via Alaska, sometime between 2015-2020.
Morton however hopes that some of these events can be reversed or changed for the better via miracles and goodwill. “If I didn’t think things could be changed I’d be up living up in the mountains somewhere buying guns and cheerios…” he joked.
Sean David Morton concluded his appearance on the program with an eloquent paean he wrote for Art Bell about his tremendous contribution to radio and the incredible forum he created.

"And again I heard the mysterious voice saying, 'Son of the Republic, look and learn.' At this the dark, shadowy angel placed a trumpet to his mouth and blew three distinct blasts; and taking water from the ocean, he sprinkled it upon Europe, Asia, and Africa. Then my eyes beheld a fearful scene: from each of these countries arose thick, black clouds that were joined into one. And throughout this mass there gleamed a dark red light by which I saw hordes of armed men, who, moving with the cloud, marched by land and sailed by sea to America, which country was enveloped in the volume of the cloud. And I dimly saw these vast armies devastate the whole country and burn the villages, towns, and cities that I beheld were springing up. As my ears listened to the thundering of the cannon, clashing of swords, and the shouts and cries of millions in mortal combat, I heard again the mysterious voice saying, 'Son of the Republic, look and learn.'
Morton interpretated the passage as being a vision of a major war he sees taking place between the US and China, approximately 11 to 16 years from now.
