Earthbound Spirits

Show Archive
Date: Wednesday - April 28, 2004
Host: George Noory
Guests: Mary Ann Winkowski

Often called the Erma Bombeck of "Ghostbusters", Mary Ann Winkowski, shared stories of her numerous communications with earthbound spirits, which she said she began to see as a young child.

Mary Ann said she is invited to attend around 15 funerals per month, in order to use her skills in communicating with the deceased, and relay any last messages they might have to their loved ones. She is particularly known for helping spirits crossover into the light, and said that a new spirit generally has between 72-80 hours after their funeral to enter the white light. After this time the light fades out, and they can become earthbound. Through a visualization process, Mary Ann said she can create a white light for spirits to enter, which she then encourages them to go into in a matter-of-fact manner.

Mary Ann said she does not fear the entities she encounters, and remains calm in her interactions with them, so they can't feed off her energy. Lingering ghosts can exacerbate people's medical problems and cause energy disruptions in a person's home she noted.
