Numbers Game
During Friday's
Open Lines, numbers ruled! We heard from a caller who said nine is a magic number, and offered to convert any number back to nine. George asked him to try his method on 666. Here are the steps:
6 + 6 + 6 = 18
1 + 8 = 9
Nancy from Nevada told George that for the last several years, and on a nearly daily basis, whenever she looks at a clock it's always 11:11. It's probably
time to get a new clock! Continuing the numbers theme, Jennifer from Arkansas recounted the story of her adoption. She said her parents were unable to conceive for 13 years, but after her adoption they gave birth to her younger sister nine months later. Curiously, the sister's birthday (16) can be derived by adding the mother's (13) and father's (3) birthdays together.
There was also a "Doom and Gloom" Special Topic line in which George invited people to share how they've overcome various black clouds. One gentleman related how his life was terrible, characterized by the "ups and downs" of depression. Through Radionics (a methond of diagnosis and treatment using the mind) he overcame depression, lost weight, and met his girlfriend. All is well now. Later, a woman who had a curse placed on her described finding dead chickens and bloody crosses in her home, and overcoming this black cloud by reading her Bible and covering herself with a "mental rainbow."

Two Extraordinary Reports

Friday's first hour guest, reporter and editor
Linda Moulton Howe of
Earthfiles.com discussed the "alien" photos taken in Holland by Robbert van den Broeke, as well as presented an interview with UFO investigator Jaime Maussan about the recent videotaped sighting in Mexico.
Robbert van den Broeke claims to have felt "a very strong mind around me" that compelled him to grab a digital camera and begin taking pictures of a strange mist as it manifested itself in his home. According to Broeke, the mist became denser until it finally formed the "alien" being seen in the photo below. This event happened for the next two nights when Broeke finally captured the mist being on videotape. Read more at

Aliens In Mexico?

On March 5, while conducting anti-drug trafficking surveillance flights, pilots in the Mexican Air Force saw and captured on video a series of brightly lit, fast-moving objects flying over Campeche in the Yucatan peninsula. The objects were decteced via radar and through the use of infrared equipment. The
video
, released only this week, has caused quite a stir in the UFO community. Many theories as to the objects' orgins abound.
Charles R. Smith, reporting for
NewsMax.com, believes the objects are a new type of stealth aircraft. Nuclear science researcher Julio Herrera thinks the lights could be electrical flashes emitted spontaneously by the atmosphere -- ball lightning. UFO specialist Jaime Maussan said the video footage is proof that flying saucers really do exist.
