Microchips & War
Thursday's first hour guest,
NewsMax columnist
Charles R. Smith, analyzed the notion of chip implantation of personnel in warfare situations such as Iraq, as a way of tracking them in case they become kidnapped.
The technology, he said, has both advantages and disadvantages. If we can detect the signal, it's likely that terrorists would also be able to, and they may take extreme measures such as cutting off an arm in order to get rid of the tracking device, he conjectured.

End Times Visions
Father Andrew Wingate returned to the show to share his latest messages of prophecy and to review some of his past predictions. His visions, he explained, often come to him during Mass. He sees an angelic face that moves closer and then views images of a "hypothetical situation" which "Heaven" confirms to him whether they are actual or not.
He foresees four major upcoming acts of terrorism, with two events to occur in the U.S. before the elections. One will take place in the southern U.S. and involve a national treasure, he stated. The other, he added, could be a
"preventative event" that will transpire somewhere along the U.S. and Mexican border.
Wingate also discussed the plans of the Antichrist, whom he named as Maitreya. During his rise to power he will kill world leaders gathered at the United Nations by detonating a nuclear bomb that is built into the structure, he asserted. Reviewing his past prediction about Florida being destroyed by a nuclear device, he explained that this would only occur if a certain sequence of events played out, involving the invasion of the U.S. by "communists." He detailed that because Florida would be completely overtaken by this invading force, the U.S. would nuke the state as an of "self-preservation."
10 months after this invasion a "Great Miracle" will take place where "pillars of fire" will be seen at multiple locations around the world, and anyone who comes into contact with these pillars (in particular a large one in Spain) will be cured of any ailment or disease, said Wingate.

Are You Possessed?
In his 1972 book
Satan is Alive and Well on Planet Earth Hal Lindsey offers a number of tips for "diagnosing demonic possession." Here is a rundown of some of his telltale signs:
Occult Powers—"Be wary of those who have psychic powers," he writes. The ability to foretell the future could be a "gift of discernment from God," but can also be a "counterfeit from Satan."
Necromancy—Mediumistic communications with the dead are generally a "demonic deception," whereby the demon is impersonating the deceased person.
Change in Intelligence—When a demon is exerting influence over an individual there may be a "sudden or sporadic increase in the person's intelligence." He cites Hitler as an example.
Increased Strength— "I saw a demon-possessed man at Berkeley with such superhuman power it took six men to hold him down," Lindsey notes.
"Filthy" Uncontrolled Swearing—The compulsion to "blaspheme the name of God and Christ" can in tandem with other symptoms be a sign of demonic influence.
