Recap

Alchemy, Prophecy & 2012

Author, filmmaker, and scholar Jay Weidner shared his research into ancient alchemy and prophecy. His investigation, he explained, was inspired by the 1926 book Mysteries of the Cathedrals written by an anonymous author who called himself Fulcanelli. The book is actually an initiation by a secret society to enlighten the human race, he said. It also led him to the obscure centuries-old Cross at Hendaye (see images below).

Wiedner spent years examining and interpreting the meanings of the cross. One of the symbols on the pedestal shows 4 A's which he equates with the four great ages that make up a 26,000 year cycle of the Earth traveling through the galaxy. We're coming to the end of the Iron Age, that began 6,500 years ago, he said. This ending is culminating in the period of 1992 through 2012, he detailed, and many ancient cultures pointed to this time of great transition, which will lead into a Golden Age.

He discussed how the great cathedrals of Europe and older structures such as the pyramids reflect alchemical principles which show how the fourth dimension interacts with the third. This September, Wiedner will participate in a conference titled 2012, which will look at the ramifications of the end of this age.
