Symbols & Meanings

Investigative reporter Jordan Maxwell(1) appeared during the second half of the show to discuss the importance of words and symbols and their connection to ancient traditions and meanings. People are often unaware of the significance of symbols and images they see everyday, he said. For instance, he cited the pyramid and eye on the dollar bill, which he related to the "chief cornerstone" that is mentioned in the Old Testament as a triangle point on top of a pyramid. It's used as a symbol for the coming Messiah in the Bible, he explained, and has been transferred to the dollar as a kind of "in-house communication."
Maxwell shared how certain words' roots can be traced back to ancient civilizations. The Phoenicians, he said, referred to the planet Saturn as "El," and that root can now be found in such words as elected, elder, elite, and electricity. By uncovering such meanings, he contends people can tap into hidden knowledge and understanding.
He also touched on his investigations into the Illuminati and secret societies. A copy of documents(2) from the British Israel World Federation Movement, dating back decades, was recently posted on his website, and curiously states that Sept. 2001 has been planned "as the end of the age."

Virgin Mary Vision?
Along the concrete wall of a Chicago expressway viaduct, believers are flocking to see what they call a vision of the Virgin Mary. Others have suggested the unusual image was simply caused by road salt or a water stain. For more, check out this article(1) from ABC7chicago.com or view their video segment(2).
