Friday the 13th Calls

During a special "Friday the 13th" Open Lines, a caller from Arkansas shared a chilling haunted house story. She recalled the home's previous owners joking, "Well, don't let the ghosts get you," as her family was moving in. Within two weeks they began receiving strange phone calls, including some from a little boy asking for his "daddy." She said her family thought the calls sounded like they were being made from within the house. The caller also claims to have played outside with two little girls (that no one else could see). Her family later discovered that two girls had been buried on the property.

Fred from Anchorage, Alaska shared an Old Hag assault that happened to him several years ago. One night, as he lay asleep on his stomach, he said he felt something grab on to his upper body and try to flip him over. He also remembered his dog behaving erratically as he was being attacked. Hoping to startle the Old Hag on his back, Fred yelled out, "Get away from me!" and the entity (and his dog) fled the scene.

George also offered a "bad luck" hotline. Micah, a student pilot from Connecticut, recounted his nearly tragic solo flight that day. He said after takeoff the wind immediately shifted direction and he almost stalled his plane. While on final approach, Micah said the wind shifted again, this time providing a strong tailwind which hindered his landing attempts. He reported making six tries to get down, all the while unable to talk with his ground-based instructor because the batteries had died in his transceiver.

At the end of the show, George played a special song produced by Cindy Lora as a tribute to Coast to Coast AM.
