Recap

A Morgus Surprise

During Open Lines George offered a 'surprise' hotline and was himself surprised when New Orleans-based television personality Dr. Morgus instantly 'teleported' into the LA studio while they were chatting on the phone. The two fielded calls together, then later in the show Morgus asked George to help him with an experiment.

Morgus explained he could use his superior powers of mind over matter to stop a punch in mid-motion, so George reluctantly agreed to take a swing at him. Unfortunately, like so many of Morgus' experiments, it failed and George accidentally struck him, loosening one of Morgus' four remaining teeth.

Throughout the evening George played a musical tribute to veterans from all branches of the armed forces, and at the end of the program presented his rendition of H.G. Wells' The Story of the Inexperienced Ghost.
