Recap

Electromagnetic Medicine

An expert in allergies and energy medicine, Dr. Keith Scott-Mumby shared his research and experimentation into various alternative treatment approaches. He made recommendations for people in various age groups. 20-30 years old: Use moderation in alcohol, caffeine and alcohol consumption as overuse can show up as damage in later years. 40-50's: Break the sedentary habit, reduce food portions and carbs. 60+: Avoid foods that don't suit you and cause stress on your body.

Among the healing machines he discussed was the SCENAR, a battery powered biofeedback device (he has successfully used the RTIM 197.4 model) and the Vega, a kind of electro-acupuncture that can diagnose allergies. The Vega is influenced by thoughts and consciousness, and thus can be a little tricky to use, he noted. He cited the work of Albert Abrams, a doctor who developed electricity treatments in the early 1900's. While Abrams was accused of quackery in his day, Scott-Mumby said that the Cyclotron Resonance machine (related to Abrams' devices) is now used at the Mayo Clinic for detecting certain types of imbalances.

The machine he is most fascinated by is the VoCal 360, which incorporates a sound technology that re-patterns the human voice. People who've used the machine have experienced extraordinary emotional releases as well as gotten in touch with the energetic patterns of their ancestors, he reported. For more on this device and others, see this follow-up page from Dr. Scott-Mumby.

'Star Trek' Medicine

While researching his book Virtual Medicine, Dr. Keith Scott-Mumby came across the Russian 'SCENAR' machine, which calls to mind the hand-held healing device on Star Trek. The SCENAR was developed by the Russian military and interacts with the body's biological energy to treat a variety of conditions. It stimulates the body's own energies to effect a cure, creating a kind of "on-board pharmacy," writes Scott-Mumby. Read more.
