Recap

Lunacy Line & Bertha

During Open Lines, George set up a 'lunacy line' for callers who wanted to comment on the craziness they see around the world. He also played a recording of a phone conversation between Dr. Morgus and Coast to Coast AM producer Tom Danheiser. In it, Tom asks Morgus to help him revive Bertha, George's beloved plant that Tom was charged to take care of while George was in St. Louis, but that he instead allowed to die of neglect. Luckily, Morgus was able to synthesize a pill from the remains of Bertha and regrow the plant for Tom. Before and after photos of Bertha can be view here.

Alten talked about a replica of Nessie's skull (pictured) that was based on a 4-inch tooth found last year at Loch Ness. More exclusive monster photos available at theloch.com.

Air Force One Tagged?

In a unique statement about freedom of speech, fashion designer Marc Ecko claimed to have spray painted the words "Still Free" on one of the engines of Air Force One. In a video posted at his website, StillFree.com, Ecko and accomplices can be seen circumventing airport security, climbing over a barbed wire fence, and purportedly tagging the president's aircraft. Ecko later admitted that it was all an elaborate hoax. Check out the video yourself to see if it would have fooled you.
