The God Theory
Art spoke with astrophysicist
Dr. Bernard Haisch about his book,
The God Theory. Unlike the majority of scientists (according to Haisch, 93% of members of the National Academy of Sciences reject God), Haisch thinks it is "possible to conceptualize a God that is compatible with science."
Further, he believes it is rational to assume "God," or what he refers to as the "consciousness of an infinite intelligence," is the force behind the universe. As proof, Haisch pointed to discoveries in Astrophysics that show how the laws of the universe appear to have been specifically designed for the evolution of life.
Haisch spoke about the dangers of organized religion and religious fundamentalism, the brain as a filter for consciousness, as well as the Bible, creation vs. evolution, and reincarnation. He also discussed zero point energy, problems in the field of Physics involving String Theory, and the Big Bang.
