Honey Bee Die-Off
First half-hour guest, entomology specialist
Eric Mussen discussed the alarming die-off of honey bees. One third of the food we eat is pollinated by bees, so this situation could have a major affect on the agriculture industry. Lab samples from various parts of the country have been collected, but no definitive explanation has arisen for the affliction called 'Colony Collapse Disorder.' For more, see this
news release.

Singularity, UFOs & Parallel Dimensions
UFO researcher and author
David Sereda returned for a discussion on recent UFO sightings as well as his work on singularity and his new film project.
The Chicago O'Hare Airport UFO sighting (
Tribune article) was significant for a number of reasons, he said, including the large number of employee and civilian witnesses. Shimmering waves were seen coming off the craft, which was able to suddenly accelerate--- the waves, he noted could have a lot to do with its propulsion system, which may use antigravity.
Sereda's new film,
From Here to Andromeda, due out in April, proposes that humanity won't survive an upcoming mass extinction. Accordingly, he explores the idea of traveling to another star system or dimension. In the movie, he interviews
Robert Thurman, an expert in Buddhism, who has translated the
Tibetan Book of the Dead. Thurman said that humans might eventually seek reincarnation on a planet similar to Earth, and "invisible cities" such as Shambhala (actually the size of a country) are real places but exist in a parallel dimension.
Humans are kept from experiencing singularity or oneness due to different levels of inertia and conflict, said Sereda. He shared that he is attempting to send a voice message through the singularity--- such communications may prove to be a more viable method of contacting ETs than the SETI program, he offered.
