Cryptozoology Update
First hour guest, cryptozoologist
Loren Coleman commented on 'giant turtle'
photos that recently came his way. He determined that instead of a turtle the creature was likely a decomposing humpback whale.

Astral Travel & Energy Work
Mystic, author and speaker
Robert Bruce returned for a discussion on astral projection and energy work. He began having spontaneous astral projections as a child, and later learned how to induce them deliberately. One of the purposes of such projections is
to experience oneself existing separately from their body, he explained.
In the lower astral realms one might encounter many beings (often other projectors) who don't seem very conscious, he detailed. Bruce spoke of astrally traveling to the edge of the universe where he reached a massive "brick wall."
Able to press on past it, he described seeing exploding suns and massive meteors.
A person maintains the original copy of their mind/spirit in their physical body, so they're not in danger of losing anything during astral projections, he noted. A nearly invisible energy filament (sometimes called the "silver cord") connects the physical body to the astral double, he added.
Bruce presented some exercises that stimulate the "energy body" and can enhance a person's physical and spiritual well-being. One involved the mental creation of an "energy ball" that is passed back and forth between the hands. His newest book
Energy Work delves into such methods in depth.

Dweller on the Threshold

Sometimes new out-of-body experiencers encounter an unpleasant manifestation known as the "Dweller on the Threshold,"
Robert Bruce writes in
Astral Dynamics. The dweller can appear as a "shadowy, menacing humanoid shape" and may call a person by name, warning them to back off from their astral projection. Bruce advises ignoring these "dwellers" which may be illusory formations generated by "low-level astral wildlife" attracted by the emotion of fear.
