Earthfiles Updates

In the first hour, Linda Moulton Howe presented updates on unusual animal deaths in Argentina and Chile, where chupacabras may be to blame. Linda also reported on some high strangeness in Canjilon, New Mexico, where rancher Albert Martinez discovered his red Angus bull dead and mutilated in October 2006. Animal-mutilation investigator Robert Allen spoke to Linda about the case.

Allen said the bull's anus was cored out and its reproductive organs were removed. The animal was also missing a dew-claw, one eye, and the front of its lips. According to Allen, there was no blood on the ground, nor did they find footprints or tire tracks near the mutliated bull. Three circular 12-inch depressions forming a triangular pattern were noticed about 60 yards away from the bull, he continued. Allen thinks some kind of object may have landed there and made those marks. He pointed out that members of the Martinez family have witnessed strange colored lights in the sky over their ranch. During the second hour, Linda gave an update on the mysterious honey bee disappearances, as well as odd aerial "drone" sightings. Linda spoke with 'Shirley' from California about her encounter with a flying object in Sequoia National Park that looked similar to Chad's 'Strange Craft'. Shirley said the object reminded her of a dragonfly. A ranger told her the object was a communications device for monitoring possible problems in the park, like fires, she said.
