Caller Confessions

During Open Lines George offered a special 'confessions' line for those who wanted to anonymously confess to something. One caller admitted to cutting down the carpet in his parents' house with a gas-powered lawn mower so he could more easily skateboard inside.

Another caller owned up to driving the getaway car for his brother after he robbed a convenient store with a pellet gun. A casino dealer confessed to providing losing blackjack advice to crabby customers who didn't tip. She said her husband did the same thing to non-tipping gamblers by 'clocking' the roulette wheel.

In the last hour, repeat caller JC confessed to tricking Coast producer Tom Danheiser into putting him on the show so he could rant against George for airing a tribute to Elvis as well as for having stolen two pen knives as a child (which George admitted during the broadcast). Later, George presented his rendition of H.G. Wells' The Story of the Inexperienced Ghost.

'Wow' Signal turns 30
