Recap

Secret Societies Through The Ages

Live from England, Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince, authors of The Sion Revelation discussed their research into Secret Societies.

The duo talked about their investigation into the Priory of Sion, saying the popular notion of the organization is merely misinformation put forth by other secret societies. They traced the origins of the groups behind the Sion story to a 1750 order called "Strict Observance" whose goal was to create a "United States of Europe." According to Picknett and Prince, the modern bloodline story surrounding the Priory was an effort to confuse researchers about this group’s true agenda.

The authors updated their work on the Knights Templar and revealed that recently released documents contain the Templar’s "official" reasons for their bizarre initiation rituals. Other new information included details on the time line of the group’s persecution and how 90% of the Templars survived. Their new research on this story is featured in the journal Dark Lore.

Prince and Picknett also previewed their next book The Masks of Christ which will explore the rivalry between Jesus and John the Baptist.
