Lindbergh Baby Found!?

Raised as an orphan by strangers, Charles A. Lindbergh Jr. shared evidence gained by personal research and questioning under hypnosis to support his claim that he is in fact the grown kidnapped son of famous aviator Charles Lindbergh.

Lindbergh Jr. recalled the day of his kidnapping, March 1, 1932, when he was "carried by a thin, sturdy male down the stairway past the hanging bulb and out the front door." Hypnotherapy sessions also revealed that he was taken to a "gentleman with a moustache" who Lindbergh Jr. thinks may have been Dr. Condon, the man who delivered the ransom money to the kidnappers.

Lindbergh Jr. said he was shuffled around to various surrogate parents, including Charles and Katie Sigman in Kansas and Don Husted, an Assembly of God minister from Wichita. Lindbergh Jr. remembered overhearing a startling conversation between Myrtle and Lorne Husted in which his step-grandfather said, "Lindbergh's a communist. He doesn't deserve this boy."

In 1943, Lindbergh Jr. was moved to San Luis Obispo, CA by Don Husted and a church secretary with whom Husted was having an affair. There Lindbergh Jr. worked as a fountain boy at Austin's Confectionery and eventually had an encounter at a nearby coffee shop with his real father, Charles Lindbergh, who wanted to "take a look at Charles." According to Lindbergh Jr., he was constantly being monitored by FBI agents while growing up.

Lindbergh Jr. talked about the situation surrounding Bruno Richard Hauptmann, the accused kidnapper who was convicted and executed for the crime. Some believe Hauptmann may have been innocent, and J. Edgar Hoover even called for a new investigation into Hauptmann's involvement in the Lindbergh kidnapping. Lindbergh Jr. also discussed results from a DNA test that showed he has the same mother as Reeve Lindbergh, Charles Lindbergh's daughter, as well as shared details of his continuing fight to be recognized as the Lindbergh Baby.
