Guests:

Glynis McCants, Richard C. Hoagland, Robert Zubrin

Numerologist Glynis McCants was featured in the second half of the show. She reviewed her forecast for 2008, in which she'd declared that "if Mother Nature wants to compete with us, she will always win." Indeed, there were many natural disasters and storms including the earthquake that struck China, and a record-breaking tornado season in the U.S. The next year for record-breaking bad weather will be 2012-- a "5" year, she noted.

Barack Obama is going into a Personal Year Cycle of "5," which is a challenge to his Lifepath number of "2," but if he can weather the storm of this year, he'll prove to be an effective president, she stated. Putin is going into a Personal Year of "1" which shows he means to win, and go after complete power, McCants added. People can read information on their Personal Year Cycle on this page (scroll down).

She also spoke about the significance of seeing 11:11. It means the universe is wide open. When you see this number on a clock, spend a minute contemplating or writing down what you want to manifest in your life, she suggested.

Tom Van Flandern Remembered

In the first hour, various speakers commemorated the passing of author & astronomer Tom Van Flandern. Michael Van Flandern spoke about what an inspiration his father was, taking unpopular positions because that's where the science compelled him to go.

Richard C. Hoagland reminisced about his first meeting with Van Flandern over 30 years ago, who told him of his theory that "the solar system was the product of some amazing gargantuan ancient…explosions, where an entire planet had blown itself to kingdom come where the asteroid belt now is."

Methane Found on Mars

Richard C. Hoagland was joined by author Robert Zubrin in the second hour to comment on the announcement that methane had been detected on Mars. This finding indicates there is either life or hydrothermal activity on Mars, with potential geothermal power available there to terraform the planet, said Zubrin. Hoagland noted the methane arrives seasonably, and there could be organisms on Mars feeding off of it.

Mysterious columns of light were seen in the sky above the Latvian town of Sigulda last month. It's believed the lights may have been related to ice crystals suspended in the air. Further info and images at the Daily Mail.
