Art Bell hosted a night of Open Lines. Inspired by a plotline in the Dean Koontz book Life Expectancy, Art picked out the subject of Best & Worst Days for callers to share. Perhaps, not surprisingly, most of the callers presented their worst rather best days.

Art Bell hosted a night of Open Lines, which included a special topic line for people who have had a physical encounter with aliens. Mary recounted the time an alien occupied her body. She described feeling "energy flow through her body" and seeing three greys.

Leading authority on UFOs and the alien presence, Timothy Good discussed pilot sightings and government cover-ups. According to Good, since 1920 there have been more than 3,400 reports from pilots involving unidentified aerial phenomena.

Retired Air Force Capt. and UFO investigator, Robert Collins, discussed his research into government and military UFO cover-ups. According to one of his sources, retired AF Lt. Col Ernie Kellerstrass, in 1959 an F106 was sent up to intercept a UFO in Japan.

Founding publisher of Skeptic Magazine, Dr. Michael Shermer, shared his viewpoint as to why he doesn't believe in paranormal phenomena and many extraordinary claims. He also commented on the emerging field of quantum science.

Research editor for Popular Mechanics magazine, Ben Chertoff, discussed some of the most prevalent claims made by conspiratorial theorists regarding 9/11 and how the staff of Popular Mechanics debunked them.

Crop circle researcher Freddy Silva shared evidence, analysis, and experiences related to the mysterious geometric patterns found in fields. At this point, only about 20% of the circles are produced by natural means, he reported.

Dr. Simeon Hein, the director of the Institute for Resonance, a nonprofit in Boulder, Colorado, discussed his study of subtle-energy sciences, and what is behind the crop circle phenomena.
