Spiders' Shelter from the Storm

Spiders' Shelter from the Storm

Following a flood which ravaged parts of Pakistan, relief workers were greeted with an eerie sight as millions of spiders had overtaken the area's trees in order to escape the incoming waters. The massive web-covered trees allowed the arachnids to capture mosquitoes that thrived from the stagnant waters, however, the vegetation would ultimately fall victim to the spiders as well, since the thick web coating kept them from receiving the necessary sunlight to live.
