Strange 'Shrew'

Once feared extinct, the Hispaniolan solenodon has been captured and filmed by scientists in the Dominican Republic. The amazing beast is one of only two mammal species capable of poisoning their prey via a venomous bite. BBC News(1) has more on the story including video.
