Art Bell Vault: The Moon, Mars, & Cosmology

article's image

Our newest feature for Coast Insiders, The Art Bell Vault, features an expanding curated collection with two vintage shows added to the mix each Wednesday. This week's new programs explore the topics of space, cosmology and the moon, beginning with a landmark episode from October 10, 1996 in which Art spoke with the esteemed Apollo astronaut Edgar Mitchell, who went on to study consciousness and paranormal phenomena in his post-NASA career. In addition to his riveting personal accounts of being on the moon, in this in-depth interview, Mitchell delves into UFOs, and Martian anomalies, as well as gets into a heated exchange with a caller promoting the Moon Hoax theory.

Next up, we journey back to March 16, 1998, when (the late) astronomer Tom Van Flandern, expounded on everything from Mars, black holes, ET life, comets, exploding planets, and the Big Bang. A professional scientist, Van Flandern was a brave proponent of non-mainstream views related to astronomy, physics, and extraterrestrial life. His startling theory about Mars, involving a larger exploding planet is laid out in detail during the conversation.

These classic programs have commercials and breaks removed and are presented in multiple-platforms-- available on-demand for Mac, Windows, IOS, and Android. Many of them feature rare "5th" hours of content from back in the 90s when the show had a longer running time. We do include Art's beloved bumper music, which became such an indelible part of his program.

And for the true Art Bell fan, we offer different listening options to fine-tune your experience, such as guest only, and full show streams. Coast Insiders, we're very happy to bring this new offering to you at no additional charge to your subscription! We welcome your feedback.
