Florida Cops 'Bust' Massive Python

A police officer in a Miami suburb bagged a monstrous Burmese python that measured a whopping twelve-and-a-half feet long.

Joseph Cabrera of the Pembroke Pines police department, found himself starring a scene that looked like a cross between COPS and Wild Kingdom as he wrestled the huge snake by the side of the road.

Fortunately, back up soon arrived and helped assist the officer in taking the snake into custody, where it was subsequently turned over to a python handler.

Photos and video of the capture were shared on social media by the Pembroke Pines PD with a caution to residents to be on the lookout for any similar snakes who may be lurking in the city.
