Those mysterious craters in Siberia are back in the news, with a new theory suggesting that their appearance is related to global warming. Over in Nazareth, the hometown of Jesus, archaeologists may have identified the first century house he grew up in. In a town in Kazakhstan, officials are conducting an evacuation because of a mysterious illness that causes residents to fall asleep at random! Meanwhile, a "doomsday vault" in an Arctic archipelago has accepted its first delivery of forest tree species seeds-- the depository opened in 2008, and is designed to withstand all cataclysms. And lastly, the folks at Motherboard wonder if something is amiss with our Sun-- latest research has shown some odd discrepancies.
