Meteor Shower

The annual Geminid meteor shower is peaking tonight. The meteors get their name from the constellation they appear to emanate from-- Gemini, the Twins. Because the moon is in a new phase, conditions for viewing should be ideal. In the earlier part of Monday evening, they can be seen halfway up in the sky, later-look overhead.
