Clear Flight Solutions in The Netherlands has developed robotic birds of prey that can keep other birds away from places such as farms and airports, where they pose a serious threat. Known as 'Robirds' these remote-controlled flying predators mimic falcons and eagles to scare away pests. To maintain flight and convince regular birds into thinking they are true birds of prey, Robirds fly by wing power alone—a difficult engineering feat to accomplish. According to its creators, Robirds can reduce nuisance birds in a given area by 50 percent. Check out the video here.
