Student Controls Cockroach With His Thoughts

A Chinese postgraduate student has invented a system which allows him to guide the movements of a cockroach with his thoughts. The insect is fitted with a chip and electrodes controlled by an electroencephalography (EEG) headset that can read specific brain patterns. The headset decodes the directional intention of the wearer and sends a signal to the electronic backpack on the roach, steering it down an s-shaped path. Check out the video here.
