Underwater Skeleton 'Tea Party'

article's image

Two skeletons seated in lawn chairs on the bottom of the Colorado River alarmed snorkelers when they discovered the scene on the morning of May 4, 2015. However, when the local La Paz County Sheriff's office sent a diver down to investigate, he discovered that the skeletons were fake. One of the skeletons in the macabre prank holds a sign with the name "Bernie" on it, possibly a reference to the movie Weekend at Bernie's. Watch a video here.
