A NASA experiment has detected a vast background glow in the dark space between galaxies which is as bright as the infrared light coming from all known galaxies combined. Astronomers believe it could be leftover from orphaned stars that were hurled out of galaxies. The discovery may ultimately show that galaxies stretch past previously thought boundary stars into a vast interconnected sea of stars. More at Mail Online.
