Watch: Mosquito 'Tornado' in Siberia

The Siberian Times' Twitter feed shares footage of a 'tornado' of swarming mosquitoes on the eastern coast of the Kamchatka peninsula. While we might view this as a terrifying or apocalyptic sight, it's said to be an annual event in the area, which occurs during the height of the insects' mating season (though climate warming may be extending this part of the bugs' cycle).
