Biography:
Phil Moberley and his wife Shari are the owners of a Villa Park, Illinois pet store where a monkeypox outbreak originated. He bought prairie dogs on April 15 from a distributor in Texas, who was not the original importer. The store sold 130 prairie dogs and 15 Gambian rats to pet lovers and vendors in DuPage, Kane, McHenry, Cook, Winnebago and Grundy counties and in Milwaukee. All appeared well, Moberley said.
