Biography:

After a number of acting roles in New York, Kerr Smith moved to Los Angeles in 1998, where he landed the breakout role of Jack McPhee on the WB's hit series, Dawson's Creek, co-starring with Katie Holmes and Michelle Williams. Since then, he has been known for his roles in such shows as the CW's Life Unexpected, Fox’s Justice, NBC’s E-Ring with Benjamin Bratt and Spelling's Charmed with Alyssa Milano. On the feature side, Kerr is known for his leads in, Lionsgate’s My Bloody Valentine, Screen Gem’s The Forsaken and James Wong’s Final Destination.

Kerr is currently recurring on The Fosters for Freeform. He just wrapped a recurring arc on ABC’s Marvel's Agents of Shield and roles in CBS' Doubt and most recently, Wisdom of the Crowd. In his personal life, he is passionate about spiritual growth and where our planet is headed as a whole. So much so, that he co-founded a business with his wife, Lisa, called TerraLife Wellness which aims to provide spiritual awareness through holistic health and wellness consulting. Kerr is also an avid ufologist with over 20 years of research and he is quickly becoming part of the ET community. He whole-heartedly believes that ETs are very much a part of the conscious awakening we are going through as a species.
