Edward Snowden Joins Twitter, Follows NSA
Controversial whistleblower Edward Snowden has joined Twitter and is only following one entity - the National Security Agency.
Verified by Twitter as the real deal, Snowden's first official tweet was less than earth-shattering.
He tweeted the classic Verizon cellphone catchphrase, "Can you hear me now?"
Snowden's second tweet, a reply to sometime Skype pen pal astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, he wrote, "Now we've got water on Mars! Do you think they check passports at the border? Asking for a friend."
Recently C2C reported
that Snowden believed communications between highly advanced extraterrestrial civilizations may be encrypted and we have yet to decipher the code.
His official profile reads, "I used to work for the government. Now I work for the public. Director at @FreedomofPress".
Reportedly, the former CIA employee remains in hiding in the real world – ensconced someplace in Russia as he is still sought by U.S. prosecutors.
